OFFICE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
The office manager will develop and enforce policies that align with the office’s goals. Establish a productive, smooth running office routine, so that the doctor is always free to educate and provide dentistry to patients.
The Office Manager is responsible for administering the day-to-today activities of the practice, including: patient and employee relations, staff interviewing/dismissals, management of marketing and communication efforts, and ensuring regulatory compliance is always kept up with staff. The Office Manager also assists the management with other tasks that may be assigned and is responsible for the overall dental office operations. The OM has the responsibility to collect and discuss the office statistics with the higher management.
Hours of the Practice:
Monday through Friday 7am-7pm
Saturday 7:45am-3:00pm
Hours of the practice are subject to change based on location, provider and patient availability. Flexibility is needed from all team members.
DENTAL RECEPTIONIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
– Make every effort to help resolve the patients’ concerns and give the patient a welcoming and memorable experience.
Job Summary:
The Dental Receptionist effectively and professionally greet all patients whether on the phone or in person and ensure they are routed to clinical area as quickly as possible.
The Dental Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greeting patients, answering the telephone, routing phone calls to the appropriate terminals in the practice, keeping the reception area clean, stocking the beverage station, maintaining patient records, and coordinating patient flow. To effectively receive and route all communication to the staff and dentist.
The Dental Receptionist is the face of the practice, both in receiving phone calls and in greeting patients. It is therefore vital that the person holding this post is cheerful, friendly, professional, efficient, swift, compassionate, caring and patient.

SCHEDULE COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
- Maintain a productive office schedule so that the office runs smoothly and to ensure that the patients do not lapse in their required treatment.
- Effectively schedule the appointments and to ensure that patients arrive on time for their scheduled appointments.
Job Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator oversees and is fully responsible for the office schedule.
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for No Shows, Cancellations, Reactivations, Maintain ASAP list, Calls, Text, Letters out to the patients.
